Tai Chi and Qigong
TAI CHI (Taijiquan)
Practiced by millions of people worldwide, Tai Chi is a system of training with martial origins which has steadily gained popularity in the West. Tai Chi is an excellent mind/body exercise, integrating internal kung fu, meditative awareness, Taoist philosophy and physics of efficient movement. Consisting of a series of movements and steps, it is practiced slowly, with attention to relaxation and calm spirit.Scientifically verified benefits:

Literally, the study and practice of energy development, Qigong claims similar benefits as Tai Chi. The movements are somewhat less complicated than Tai Chi, and some of the training takes place while the participants are standing still (sometimes known as Standing Meditation). Many students enjoy practicing Qigong as a supplement to their Tai Chi training.Weather-permitting, these classes will be held outside. Meet at the studio first!

Yoga for Any Body
Move and breathe at your own pace.
Bodies of all shapes, sizes, and abilities welcome. Appropriate for beginners. Class usually begins on the floor, includes standing poses and movements in the middle, and returns to the floor at the end of class. The focus is on stress relief and soothing the nervous system.
Chairs and other props are available to help participants get down to and up from the floor.

Community: Vin-Yin Yoga
Vin-Yin combines the dynamic practice of Vinyasa Yoga with the deep stretch of Yin Yoga! Vinyasa yoga focuses on the lengthening and strengthening of the muscles while Yin Yoga targets the connective tissues and joints of the hips, pelvis, and lower spine. This is indeed a "happy hour" for your body!

Strength-Balance-Flexibility
In this class you’ll spend equal time on strength, balance, and flexibility. Use your bodyweight to build strength. Light hand weights are optional for those who want a little more challenge. See what happens when you focus on breathing while standing on one foot. Move into some basic stretches and watch your body open and create more space.

These active, all-level classes emphasize connecting breath with movement, encompassing sun salutations and warrior sequences. You will sweat!
